Welcome to our Folding Tumbling Mats page, one of our best selling product lines. We make and sell thousands of folding mats every year. Primarily used for gymnastics tumblings mats, they are also perfect as general exercise mats or gym mats. We are the factory, so when you buy from us you get the wholesale price. Our folding mats come in two different foam types and fold accordion style via 2 feet wide panels. The thinner foam (1 3/8") is cross-linked polyethylene, which is firmer. The thicker foam (2") is polyurethane, which is firm, but not as firm as the thinner foam.
1 3/8" cross-linked polyethylene foam
This type of foam is a very solid and sturdy foam. Mats with this type of foam is perfect for professional use in competitive gymnastics events and advanced tumbling or cheerleading. This same foam is used in thousands of high school and college gymnastics and wrestling programs across the United States.

2" Polyurethane foam
Mats made with this foam are our low cost alternative designed for home use and beginners. The foam is firm, but not as firm as the cross-linked polyethylene foam used in 1 3/8" thick models. The polyurethane foam is a 2" thick 100 ILD open cell high density polyurethane foam. Generally accepted uses of mats with this kind of foam are practice venues and home use. For competitive gymnastics we recommend our 1 3/8" cross-linked polyethylene foam mats.
